Setting up the Pulse appliance from the ISO image? Start with the appliance installation guide instead — this page covers the application-level setup that follows.

This guide walks you through the initial setup of Pulse after installation.

First Login

After deploying Pulse, open the web interface in your browser. You will see the login page.

If you don't have an account yet, click Register to create one.

Creating an Account

1. Navigate to the registration page
2. Enter your email address and choose a password
3. Your password must meet the following requirements:
   • Between 8 and 64 characters
   • At least one uppercase letter
   • At least one lowercase letter
   • At least one number
   • At least one special character

Setting Up Your Organization

After registration, you will be prompted to create your organization. An organization is the top-level container for all your monitoring configuration.

1. Enter your organization name
2. Select your timezone
